the g10 letter!

While I was scouring the dust out of my Military the other day, I looked into the handle with a flashlight and saw what appears to be a letter lightly carved into the g10 on the inside. I think its a P or an F. It is partially obscured by the spacer. Anyone have any ideas? Is this a signature of some sort? I always knew this Military had mystical properties!

Nobody knows? Cmon spyderco, you have to know why your militaries have letters carved into the inside!
 
Prince - Actually, I am at a loss to know of any numbers or leters ever put inside the G10. Vince? You have any idea?

I saw this thread earlier and have, since then, checked my Military.....nothing but G10.

Hi All.
The letters or numbers you see inside are the thickness of the G10. We batch the material to make sure that the liner cavity is machined to the correct depth on each knife +-.001.
