I was picking up some items at Home Depot the other day and spied this knife, a folding lockback that uses utility knife blades. It's a sturdy, husky tool. The knife's handle is purple anodized and has "Husky", one of HD's tool lines, stamped on the side and a strong pocket clip on the other side. I purchased the knife, $9.99. Heck, can't go far wrong. I've been carrying it about a week now and it's been handy to have around. A little rough spot opening, it is a little heavy, and forget about opening it with the thumbstud unless your life is at stake. But, despite that, it's just the ticket to stick in the pocket on the weekend while doing odd jobs around the house and yard. Hey, it's a pocket knife you never have to sharpen!
Check'em out at Home Depot!

You are right about the Husky knife. They are nice for the money but are, as you said, a little heavy and stiff. Compared to the SUPERKNIFE they are very heavy and very stiff. I got one just to compare them and prefer the SUPERKNIFE except for one issue. The SUPERKNIFE requires an included wrench to change blades while the HUSKY allows much easier changes with no tools. The HUSKY is about $10 while the SUPERKNIFE is $25 . . . I got mine on Ebay for $12 so they can be had for less.

ok, i understand i am bringing back an OLD thread, but today i just lost a knife that i was quite fond of, and trying to find an if not exact, at least close replacement.
the knife was made by Husky. yes Husky and sold at Home Depot. i only saw the knife in store once and that was when i bought it. It had 2 blades, the typical replacable(sp?) utility on one end, and a serrated/smooth on the other. all stainless steel, with stainless/rubber insert grips. the blades folded in and out form either end and the were liner lock not the rear lock like most other husky/typical folding utility knives.
this made the knife amazing for one handed use. it was comfortable, and i actually like the weight of it.

now the mision of finding an adequate replacement. anybody possibly have any info here?

EDIT: so, i posted this after searching and searching for a couple hours, then just minutes after i posted here i found the Exact knife i was looking for, only with the Sheffield branding on it, not Husky, and the outer part of the grips look to be anodized blue instead of just raw stainless.
her it is http://sheffield-tools.com/folding-combination-utility-knife-p-1150.html
