I too am an Ironwood fan and it's been great seeing all your beautiful knives. The grain on this 78 is the most highly figured and closely match of all my Desert Ironwood covered knives.

I do have one customer that is pushing 50 of my knives in his collection. He checks the website everyday. Once in a while his wife will tell him he's being grumpy, go buy one of Dave's knives.

That's an understatement Gary! I remember the first time you posted it. Incredible and I don't think I've seen very much ironwood burl, if any, other than yours.

- absolutely. You're right...........it does that like no other wood, well, no other I can immediately think of.

Other burls are stunning in their own way, with tightly packed rosettes and the like, but none quite like Desert Ironwood.

Have collected loads of wood bits over the years, will have a rummage......
