How many different companies where Kastor related? 100? 200? more? How many of these pseudonym company names did Kastor come up with and why?

I have an idea:
http://lib.store.yahoo.net/lib/knifeworld/kastorlist.pdf

But lets stick with traditional cutlery and show as many Kastor related knives as possible, the more obscure the better. Confirmed or suspect.

Should be really fun!!

Absolutely beautiful s-k! Please do post any other knives you come up with. Thanks in advance

Heres a Morley split back spring whittler with the crack ;-(( I dropped it, a Garland whittler and a Koch carved pen. Somewhere I heard or read that Koch was one of the Kastor companies but my memory may be off on that .

Best regards

I've never seen a Garland or a Koch and they sure are beautiful. All lovely knives! The Garland looks to have nice color! Perfect Robin

I think it's a Kastor/ Camillus

Thanks for your fine contributions, Vanguard and Stich!

Stich, you were the inspiration for this thread. You told me once, that you found Kastor to be quite ubiquitous. I began to research and found that to be quite true. Hopefully, those gentleman that normally don't post their knives will want to contribute to this thread and bring some of the more obscure knives into the light.

It was the Wadsworth, I was trying to find info on it and came across the chart, I was blown away, H. Boker is another cutler with a rich and broad reach.

I forgot about this one

Very knice knives everyone. These are two Busch advertising knives. The red and black knife is stamped N Kastor Ohligs Germany on the tang. It is the older and rarer design with the spread eagle wings. The other is stamped Anheuser Busch Germany but is most likely a Kastor Bros imported knife. The eagle wings are tucked in to the A on this one.

Thanks, glad you like the Busch knives.

Here's another knife from the list. This one is a Christians Germany.

Thanks for the comment Robin. :)

I think this is an example of the 1930s Remington straightline from the list.
