Here they are boys! The Satin Jack sheaths have been replaced with the hottest design to hit the market in quite a while.

I designed the basic concept of these sheaths with the help of John Carver many, many years ago. They are (currently) unique to Busse Combat and have many outstanding features. They are double stitched and are, non-corrosive grommeted, ballistic nylon, easily removable from the belt, have tie down loops right where you need them, and feature a fully adjustable, ambidextrous retaining strap, that can be single or double strapped (as in the pic).

Very, Very Cool!!!!

. . . . and here's the tri-panel belt loop that not only velcros but has double aligned eyelets for added tie down and reinforcement. Easily removable without stripping everything off of your belt first.

Any chance these are going to be made available for the rest of the Busse line?? I wouldn't mind getting one or two each for a ZT BM, ZT SH, ZT NO, Mr Mojo, Aftershock, and will probably need one for a Satin Jack as well ;)

Any chance ???

Allright Jerry at the expense of ruinin the blade show surprise,I have to know. Will these be at blade with this sheath? Are the new SJ's in 3/16? Will there be any SJ variants?Any other gratuitous info would be greatly appreciated!

Very cool! Looks very versatile and strong :D

I'd also like to know if these will ever come or be available with the other models (SH, BM, etc.)?

Grrrrr.... Still no pocket on the sheath? I do like the new belt attachment though. :)

Nice work Jerry!!!:D

I love the belt setup and the retaining strap design:cool:

...but inquiring minds want to know! Will we see pouches and sheaths for SH's, BM's, and NO's???;)

This appears to be a well thought out sheath and I especially appreciate the extra sturdiness designed into it. :D Wimpy sheaths seem to be more the norm than the exception among knife makers these days, which makes this one all the nicer.

But I agree with Buzzbait - i.e. the front of the sheath looks like wasted real estate begging for a pocket to hold a Firesteel and sharpener. Otherwise, this sheath looks mighty fine IMHO.

Looks like an ideal sheath for the Nimrod Special Edition Satin Jack." ;)

Fear not my frontal pouch loving friends and note the loop on the front of the sheath. Why, there could be a removable pouch in the works. . . .In the works I say. . . In the works! ;)

Jerry

I knew it! I knew that would be there for the pourpose as you decribed. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves, loosing faith in our master like that! On your knees you dogs!

There is one thing better than a frontal lobal pocket, thats a removable frontal lobal pocket!

Remember me Jerry! I did not faulter at the time of truth!

Your humble servant,

'Suck hole'...:D

or

'ass kisser - whichever you like best...

I like it, please send back my SJ's with these new sheaths.

These are like the old SHBB sheaths...Very Cool.

That new belt-attachment is exactly what I've been looking for. A removable front pouch will make it perfect.

I eagerly await sliding my "Mikey Likes It!" recurved Satin Jack variant into the new sheath and heading into the woods.

The only thing better than putting a Satin Jack into a sheath like that is taking it back out to use!

--Mike

I figured it out!!!

The removable pouch that is in the works os for the FOLDER!!!

Thanks Jerry. You have restored my confidence.

Call me stupid, but I'm not sure that I understand how the retaining strap works. Could somebody explain it? Does the new system protect from accidentally cutting the retaining strap in half, which I'm a little worried about on the old model sheath. As I slide my knife in and out of the sheath, The blade tends to drag along the strap. I also have a very hard time snapping the strap shut after resheathing the knife.
