The new ZT should make a lot of people happy.

There have been a lot of calls for ZT to get back to their roots, and this knife seems to do just that. I like the looks of it, the 3V steel, and the kydex. Not sure if I will get one, as I have plenty of fixed blades and little use for a fighting-style knife, but cool nonetheless, and hopefully a harbinger of things to come.

Interesting to see Kershaw using some Magnacut now too!

Looks interesting. Maybe a little more ergonomic in the handle but not a hard no for me. I personally wish they resurrected an updated version of the the 121. Maybe without the recurve but this new style is intriguing.

I like it but I'm not going to buy it, since I already own a 0100, 0121, 0160, 0170 & 0180.

I never was a fan of the ZT-9 bayonet. The 0006 resembles it but doesn't make many apparent refinements beyond it.

However, I appreciate that ZT is making the effort and, even though I and other "critics" here will not buy it, I hope that it still sells well for ZT so that it will encourage the company to make more fixed blades and folders in the tradition of their earlier knives.

So no new folding knives from ZT…..disappointing.

ZT has always been my favorite brand. Never had a QC issue in any of the 28 ZTs I’ve owned. Amazing service/warranty. But so so disappointed in what they’ve released the last few years.

I would daresay quite a few, especially given how ubiquitous 3V is these days.

You'd be right. I mean, this one is MagnaCut but it was made to my specifications and exists within the same ballpark price-wise.
