The Pathfinder Club - Members Only!

I think 1948 should the date of the 105. After all, that's when the model was conceived regardless of what it was called....

Is this what the Pathfinder looked like in 1948? The model number might be 105, but it doesn't really look like a Pathfinder. That's why I went with 1961 when everything came together, however I understand your point.

Welcome westgin! That 105 definitely qualifies you for membership. It's in great condition for its age. Does it come with a story?

Not much of a story to tell. I picked it up on the bay a couple years ago and sent it in for the spa treatment. I use it in the kitchen more than any where else. I really like the knife but still go back to my faithful 102 in the outdoors.

Strongly disagree! That's a great story! Old knife spotted by a knowledgeable Bucknut, rescued from eBay, sent to Buck for a tune up, and back in service.

Nothing wrong with the 102, other than we've probably lost a few Pathfinder members to that little snot nosed kid. :D

Yes that little 102 kept me from buying a lot of knives that I should have when they were a LOT cheaper! But it did do everything I needed it to, and that knife has a lot of stories!

Welcome wonderboy! Wow, those are two beauties. I like the shape of that left pommel. Ironwood and stag or bone?
