The Pathfinder Club - Members Only!

Good question! We use the honor system for those who might be a little "technologically challenged" when it comes to posting photos. Here are the club's Terms and Conditions from post #88. :)
.....providing visual proof or by simply claiming ownership of one or more Buck 105 Pathfinder knives.

LOL, ya it seems now I remember reading that now, just didn't see it in Original Post.

Pathfinder Club Terms & Conditions: Members are automatically enrolled in club by providing visual proof or by simply claiming ownership of one or more Buck 105 Pathfinder knives. Memberships are transferable and are valid until expiration of knife or owner, whichever comes first. Club is not responsible for accidental finger lacerations, bandage reimbursements, unplanned emergency room expenses, loss of arm hair, disposal of excessive wood shavings, spousal eyebrow raising due to multiple Pathfinder purchases, or loss of interest in other knives due to exceptional Pathfinder performance.

Der Verminator has expired as a member of BladeForums and can be removed.

Wow, what a knife and sheath in what appears to be new condition. Any interesting story with it?

I really don’t have any stories with her yet... I have been a buck fan for many years, my first Buck was a Damascus 110 that I bought in 1990. I was 10 years old and saved all my money for a year to get it. I used that knife through Boy Scouts and my teenage years, dressing and skinning my first deer and probably a dozen more plus countless fish. I still have it and it’s in excellent condition. I wanted a Buck fixed blade that I could also use for camp chores, food prep and butchering and I thought the older 105 with the skinny blade looked perfect and searched the auction site until I came across this one. I’m very happy with it, fits my hand perfectly, well balanced and is lightweight for its size.

Your patience paid off. Your 105 is a beauty.

Actually, the "expiration" part in Terms & Conditions refers to death of owner or knife and was meant to be somewhat humorous, but I agree, club members need to be in good standing on BladeForums.

It's here already.
My friend got my 105 from me while hunting.
Of all my knives he chose that!
We didn't have phone signal where we were, but when I went to town to get diesel, I found phone service and ordered me up a new one. I sorta wanted the s30v anyway:D.

Can I redeem pts for name ON the list?
Thanks!

I dunno, the brass and wood ones are prettier...... But I do like the better blade.

I dunno, the red Micarta and aluminum hardware is awfully pretty. I'd say you got the best of both worlds. Regardless, welcome to The Club, GPyro! :)

I tried to post a picture of my 105 but haven't figured out how, so I gave up. That said, I've had mine ever since I was fourteen or so and bought it from a black-and-white Campmor catalogue with my saved-up lawnmower, birthday, and Christmas money. Ever since then it's been used fishing, hunting, camping, and for anything else in need of slicing ... including, oops, accidentally and rarely ... my fingers.

Welcome Weiss! No worries on the photo. Your fingers have been through enough to qualify you for membership. :D Sounds like you have a real treasure there with your childhood Pathfinder.

Well, guess I'm a member now...

What a handsome little fixed blade. Just received it in the mail today from C+C.

PS: I know that some out there don't care for the "Made in Mexico" sheaths. However, I find them to be perfectly functional and somewhat nice looking.

Since my pictures were canned by another hosting site that went out of business,I'll post some of these 105's again.

What hosting site are you using, and how do you get the pictures to show up automatically in your post? I've tried two different hosting sites, but can't figure out how to get images to show up automatically.
Thanks, Dave

Post a link to your pictures and I'll figure how to post them and then relay that information to you.

PS: OK I see that you do have a link.Give me some time and I'll figure how to post your pictures.
