Just so you know, my favorite brand of beer is anything ice cold! OH

OH, you're a true Buck man - one in the hand and one on the hip. :)
Thanks! There was also a Buck 118 laying ready. I skin out my deer with one knife, once I begin removing the entrails I finish up with the large intestine. At that point I lay that knife aside (this past Monday that was the Buck 105 in the picture) and pick up the second knife to remove the meat (the Buck 118). The Buck 110 is a backup to the others in case one gets tainted and I need a third clean knife. Just my way, OH

So I don’t have to have a 105 in my possession just on order quality’s for membership? Sing me up
The eBay seller either quit or got kicked off. I’ve requested a refund. Continuing my search for a 105. I happened upon LLBeans site, their price is in line with Amazon. However a 15% discount is available until midnight tonight plus my wife had $6. and change “ bean bucks” available. I’m gonna end up with a 105 yet

It showed up today. Sign me up please. It has a 2020 date code. It appears I’m going to wind up with two. Although the eBay seller or eBay shut the sellers account down. The seller however did ship the knife in the pic. LLBean notified me yesterday that they also shipped a Buck 105 with tracking number. I’ll have $90 in the pair.

Just got mine from the factory and it immediately went to shop for demo. Does it count if it's in pieces?
Cleaning up our shop a while ago and had been saving, for who know's why, the orange lucite busted guard off some of Grampa's old saws. Just about threw it out cause I hadn't done anything with it, when a light came on.

Trying to think of a way to make it even more unique, not really wanting to add any other color to it I decided to get some orange g10 as is on my 110 auto. So the spacers in the guard and the butt will be replaced with like sized orange g10 and done as a 4 spacer. Then 1/8" g10 in pattern in the handle.

So would it be considered canabalism when a Buck is used to demo another buck.

Man, that is going to be awesome. I would love to rehandle a pathfinder. I might give that a try soon!

I broke my two out the other day to appreciate them. Such great knives.

The black phenolic came off in one piece? Looking forward to seeing your end results, it sounds awesome.

Are you going to silver solder the guard?

how much glue was on there on the tang...was it hard to pull apart or naw?

It was put together well, rather tight cant imagine it coming apart under use.
However it wasnt difficult to get apart once the pin was removed.
Once the butt was off i just put the blade in the vice lightly, tip down and lightly tapped the tang to remove the phenolic and guard.
Dont see any point in soldering the guard, Buck didnt seem to think it necessary.
