You do have a good connection/relationship with the folks at the Local Bike Shop, right? For scoring "expired" bicycle-tire tubes ...
I also keep the same 20 stuffed into a small Ziplok freezer-bag in my car kit ... along with six 1/2" by 8" vertically/lengthwise-cut strips (not the typical smallish closed-loops/bands) made from the same fine butyl rubber ... awesome for open-ended temp repairs and even (tied-end-to-end) tourniquets ...
