You can share any Buck Knife or Buck Knives
that you wish too... It doesn't have to be
special any Buck Knife will do...

I got this Sweet Buck 106 2 liner straight handle
camp axe and to top it off it as the rare snap
sheath... So now I have a 106 1 liner and a 2 liner
with straight handles with the rare snap sheaths...
I got these 2 106's from that collection I found
in Oregon...

Thanks for looking, ITE

Nice axes Armand, I don’t have any of those my neighbours mite call the authorities if I was wandering around with that.

Nice British wet morning for photos, first picture was before I received the knife and the latter is after I give it a good old clean.

Don't know what happened with the picture above but I could not type anything where the picture is. These 4 M9's are the ones I sent to Buck to have bead blasted. Each has a different tang stamp. I stripped them down to just the blade when I shipped them.

Patent pending, found out I had 2 the same, I always thought there were 4 versions. I guess only 3 Phrobis.

Small u.s.a. font. The "A" from U.S.A. lines up with the "i" in Phrobis.

I call this my Champagne Buck. The handle slabs are anodized with a Crystal Champagne finish.
The blade has a Physical Vapor Deposition coating of Zirconium Nitride at 86 HRC (Hardness Rockwell C Scale). This is also Champagne colored. The edge is single bevel (chisel sharpened). This makes the knife inherently extra sharp because the total included angle of the edge is around 10 degrees. The hard micro edge is exposed, and the supporting steel (420 HC) wears away in preference to the harder coating making the edge self sharpening. This coating is used on tool bits to improve the wear life.8AA10FF5-A9A6-42C2-8D2E-04684BF0A5C9.jpegE8D37B85-6001-496A-9AA4-D816AF0EFA9B.jpeg39A92012-B1A8-4AA7-BCC1-630C1366AA0D.jpeg
The handle has also been skinnied up by removing material from the inside. The new thickness is 3/8” which is also the size of the ZrN coated drill bit.
