User 124, Real Dark green micarta, i sanded the guard down so i can get my thumb on top of the blade. Gave it a slight clip point. Also to make a slip sheath fit easier. I chopped a bit on a Maple were having cut down next weekend. Some vibration thru the handle but kept its edge after 30 strikes. Handle is slippery, i will probably narrow and round it a bit. 20190922_104544.jpg 20190922_104528.jpg 20190922_105009.jpg 20190922_104837.jpg 20190922_104245.jpg 20190922_104148.jpg

They are so tough the needle slides around trying to sew. Nature's kevlar
Mak, that sheath is awesome! Is it stingray leather?

Also I rounded the handle on my 124 and that made it a lot more user friendly. Especially near the guard finger groove. The 124 is one tough knife, I’ve used mine for clearing brush, small tree limbs, and saplings kinda like a short machete lol. Then for preparing a meal for supper.

Nice axes Armand, I don’t have any of those my neighbours mite call the authorities if I was wandering around with that.

Nice British wet morning for photos, first picture was before I received the knife and the latter is after I give it a good old clean.

I would call that a wonderfully rare bird or a mistake of some kind.

A THREE-DOT blade of 425M?

According to the popular wisdom and Buck history.......that blade is not supposed to exist. Three-dots are all supposed to be 440C.

So we have another wonderful Buck mystery floating about.

:)
