Hello and welcome to the Sunday Picture Show. Share your Buck knives with others by posting pictures of them here. New or old, plain or custom, user or safe queen, one or a collection, we love to see them all. This weekly tradition was started in 2010 by ItsTooEarly (Armand Hernandez) and Oregon (Steve Dunn). Help keep the tradition alive. Feel free to click that 'LIKE' but lets not let it replace discussing and complimenting each others knives. Above all, enjoy the show. DeSotoSky (Roger Yost)

I like Twinsets. This week I have a 103 Skinner and 116 Caper in Brown (or Olive Drab) Micarta. I think Buck has been selling these thru the factory store this past year. I have purchased several of these knives, some were labeled Olive Drab and some Brown. They all look the same to my color challenged eyes. I can't tell the difference. I purchased this pair from DOGPOUND77 in a black vintage Buck TwinSet sheath. I did not feel it did them justice so I commissioned this custom sheath by Makael. I think it was worth the wait. Although this is by no means a factory Twinset, Buck did sell the 103/116 combination as the 117 Trophy Set.

I have two identical Buck 103 Skinners; the only way I can tell them apart is that one is still NIB and doesn’t leave its box - it was a gift from a friend. The other one looks new (pictured here). I have used it to skin a doe (this one a couple of seasons back). OH

3 early variations of 119 which I recently cleaned the years of gunk off. They look unused and in excellent shape. Not sure if they sit within my collection at the moment.

crazy to think models over 50yrs old are sitting around like the day they came from the factory

I've shown this set several times before, it is one of my favorites. It's an early 50's model 109 Ranger Twinset containing a 105 and 107. Early 105's had a small clip as compared to the contemporary ones and notice the scaler on the 107. Handles are Lignum Vitae. In the early days Buck would combine any two knives of your choosing into a twinset for $1 less than the individual cost of the knives. I'm guessing $1 was the difference between making 1 sheath or 2.
