is often deciding what you like.

The large arrived last month, the wharncliff this month, and the traditional has been here for a while. While I like all of these, I am starting to lean to the mini or tiny trappers. Its tough to have so many choices.

Nice shoes Ed.......;)

Love the trapper with the warncliffe blade. Trappers have been a pattern that took a while to grow on me.

Great pics.

I was dressed up for an interview today, lol.

My camera is funny. It takes the best pictures on the front porch with natural light. I often end up waiting until daytime to take pictures on the porch as the flash pictures turn out so poorly.

ED T, who is the Lady Trapper for? Nice Pink, she must be special.
Love the Wharnie.

My feminine side!

Actually, she did not like it, so it is mine. She claimed my caribbean blue mini trapper.
What else should I have expected from a lady that carries a green spyderco jester every day. Good thing we have children in common. Her knife habits might otherwise be considered irreconcilable differences.

Oh well!

I understand, I have a pink buck-lite that is mine, Of course, it is NOT an EDC and sits on a shelf. My wife cares nothing for knives, except me keeping her kitchen knives sharp. But to her credit, she helps my collection on birthdays and Christmas. After 42 going on 43 years with same woman, that adds up to a LOT of knives, even got me a custom from WT Fuller, swapped a puppy for that jewel, the dog is dead by now, but I still have the knife.:D

Now my son and two girls, all grown and married, think that Father's Day and Christmas are the time for Dad to get yet another one. How do you think I filled that wall? I am fortunate to have such a family, God has blessed me beyond measure with each and every one. Sorry for the thread hijack, but I do love those trappers and you got me started on family. ;):)

No hijack here. You are just talking about part of what makes traditionals traditional.

Hey fellows, hope all is well w/y'all!. Great story 'bout the family James.

Great thread Ed.. And, getting back on track. I agree, this Trapper pattern slippy is awfully hard to beat in any frame and blade line-up.. I am liking the following, just to name a few..

An old Schrade Walden 1960's #285UH w/worked brass liners.

An early 6.5BS #6254 TS-SS with deep jigging and coloration character that I just traded to a lucky bf.com member in this forum.

Cripple Creek Trapper, pipe, and Diamond strike anywhere matches. If those don't belong together I'm not sure what does.

Great knives and pics.

Much Obliged for the photo complement tarmix101.

And as for the CC Trapper, pipe and strike anywhere matches, I couldn't agree more.. I grew up on those matches, old slippys, and pipes.

not a huge fan of the trapper for EDC except for the slimline single blade trappers. But, here are a few that I haven't been able to part with.
