This is a shoulder harness based on Tom Maringers shoulder rig design. Once they are ready, I will offer them with the Vorpals I make and also as a stand alone for mine and other makers knives. This is a prototype and I should have some available soon. These are a great way to carry either knives or tomahawks underarm. It is fairly universal as the snaps are attached via screws to the sheath. The pull the dot snaps means it stays in place until you want to remove the sheath.
Here are a few videos and pictures showing how it is carried and blades can be deployed very quickly. These will work best on pancake style sheaths where the snaps can be attached to the non edge side of the sheath. This helps keep the sheath from twisting.
Let me know your thoughts!

Nice, I was looking into having something similar commissioned a few months ago in leather for my HK Feint (awful stock sheath), but this looks like a winner if I get a kydex or leather sheath with some rivets that can accept the snaps.

It may be of interest for a more chest carry for those less worried about concealment. I think you would just need to shorten the top strap and lengthen the bottom or maybe there's already enough adjustability to do that within the design? A chest rig just seems easier on the re-sheath thing though that's not the point of this rig from the video, kind of like re-sheathing a neck knife.

The straps have a lot of length adj.

I make the resheathing look a bit awkward, but it's not that bad after you do it a few times.

I finally have a few of these available. Half of the first 50 were sold in less than 24 hours, and I have about 20 left in batch number #1. I figured I would give everyone a heads up that has been waiting for one.

Here is another video showing better how it is mounted to a couple different sheath styles.

Mine is on the way :)

Thank you Ben

I’ll be running a Winkler Sayoc Hawk with headhunter spike under my left arm

Small knife weak side carry Crossdraw and gun on right

Expect a video and yes I’m crazy

Joe - You forgot to mention the Smatchet in your briefcase - are you expecting a hostile takeover, WWIII, or a visit from MS13 gang members? :D

Gotta be ready for all of the above.

Have you seen the MercHarness? Basically it is just a long loop of paracord that you twist in the middle into a figure 8. You stick an arm through each circle of the figure 8 and the twist where it crosses over goes on the middle of your back and the knife hangs under the armpit.

This is everyday

Since I got the Black NYS I’ve been toting that because it blends into my belt better

Most days I have a sport coat or jacket on and no one ever mentions the NYS

The Smatchet is in the rotation of briefcase/truck blade but currently we are running the Winkler Sayoc Hawk

I’m a firm believer in always being prepared

If it’s up to me I’m always going home :)

I’m a long time hawk fan and have many

From Hayes Hawks to RMJ and a bunch of classic Hawks. The Hayes hawk is in a shoulder rig from Wally

These shoulder rigs from Ben will be the ticket for hawk carry and a small to medium knife, small combat hawk and sidearm make for a wicked threesome

If you run out of bullets a hawk is a weapon that is capable of one hit complete stops that only big Bowie’s short swords and clubs are capable of

If you’ve never spared with a hawk and hooked someone behind the knee and pulled you don’t know what fun is :)

Pretty cool setup, Ben. I like how your create gear to augment your blades.

Joe, now I have a meaningful desire to see all of your hawks :).

Since I got enough inquiries about it, I will be offering a version 2.0 that allows carry on both sides of the rig, so it will be symmetrical with snaps on both sides.
Which will also mean you could carry center of chest if you wanted.
