The world's largest knife collection?

The guy in the tactical knives thread in the gallery has a lot. Mostly fixed blades.

2000+ knives...wow...I'm sure he appreciates them all. That's hoarding, not collecting in my opinion.

If I had this many I'd make sure not to document them, just stop buying and you can still get a new knife every week without spending anything.
how cool is that.

What's wrong with hoarding or having a big knife accumulation? Same applies to ammunition.... That is quite a collection of blades.

Well color me impressed when you have accumulated 2000 different rounds. :p I wouldn't call stocking up on common calibers necessarily hoarding. (Unless you end up with a basement with a million rounds of some odd caliber that nobody uses anymore. :D Unless there is a market for resale... )

Might be different if all 2000 “knives” took different ammo. Think about it like guns. Not saying you are wrong....cuz I may end up with a diverse collection over the years.

I surpassed 2,000 rounds for most of the gun calibers I own (except 22 mag) after the shortage a couple times ago; even 41 mag. Have no desire to own 2,000 knives. But if it works out that way, that's the way it goes.

As the guy said-I doubt it will hold up, but he at least got it started. People have been collecting knives forever, so I am sure there are some extremely impressive collections out there, if not here.
I am still in the a quality over quantity camp, or the lack of money to buy more camp.

makandr makandr has wayyyyyyy more knives than this false Guinness record holder.

There's a guy in Kentucky who has a collection of around 12,000 - 14,000 hammers. Probably has a few pocket knives as well.

A good big collection respect to the owner but I certainly have more. But I will not register in the record book I'm very modest ...
