Things to do in the Colorado Springs area?

Hey all.

My wife and I are heading to Colorado Springs, CO this weekend to meet up with a bunch of my old mates from school and to watch the AF vs Navy football game. Beyond going out and pushing it up every night (we know all the best places to eat/drink already), what would be some fun things to do out there? I went to school in Colorado Springs, so we have done a lot of the fun stuff before. Already been to Garden of the Gods (will probably do that again anyway), the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, the USAF Academy, Pikes Peak, Cripple Creek, and we are already planning on hiking The Incline.

We are up for anything... Parks, museums, hikes, tours, photo-ops, breweries, etc. We are also willing to drive a bit if we find something cool to do nearby (probably no further than Fort Collins or Manitou Springs).

What am I missing? What would you do?

Thanks for the input. I'm excited.

GO AIR FORCE! SINK NAVY!

Cave of the Winds is interesting, especially when they do the lantern (no electric lights) tours.

There's more to do in Denver than in C-Springs, especially since you've done most of the Springs stuff already.

The Colorado Railroad Museum in Golden gets a Thumbs-Up.

Fort Collins is the place for brewery tours and testing, home of the Fort Collins Brewery, O'Dell's, and New Belgium. Plus maybe some other smaller micro-breweries. I'd gloss over the others and hit O'Dell's hard.

Instead of going north from the springs, maybe try south to the Pueblo area. Here's the Royal Gorge Railroad website:

And here's something out in the grasslands you might consider, since it's on your way to Oklahoma. And it might be freezing cold in the mountains. It's a five-mile hike in a canyon that contains historic mission ruins, prehistoric Native American rock art, dinosaur footprints, and a historic ranch ruin. I haven't been yet, but it's definitely on my list:

Haven't been to this spot either, but it's on the west side of Denver not far from the Railroad Museum:

Have you been to Bishop Castle about halfway between C-Springs and Pueblo? Absolutely amazing.

Everyone's been to Garden of the Gods, but have you been to the nearby Red Rock Canyon Open Space park?
