My Uncle Zen has a birthday today. While everyone in my family/childhood had a HUGE impact on encouraging me to embrace, understand and express myself through music (thank you all), Len was a particular and stand-out influence. I learned how to hold a guitar from this dude. Learned my very first riff... the theme from "Bonanza"... at the ripe old age of 5 from him. Went to my first shows in clubs and festivals because he was playin' with his band and put me on the guest-list. Thank you, Len.

This is not my uncle's band, but it's a song he played guitar on and sang lead on many, many times.

James - Can I put in a shameless plug for my daughter and her boyfriend?

I think Brandon is pretty good, Sarah is not bad, but the harmony is really nice. Not to mention the young man that produces these things has some talent.
