Anyone who owns this knife can you recommend it or not? I just saw it for the first time and I am very much considering buying one. The 3G and Swedish Oak pretty much sealed the deal for me just wanted to get some opinions. I have always wanted a Swedish folder and this one looks very promising

I have one with Cocobolo scales since 2007.

It's a very high fit&finish with smooth action and with no bladeplay.
However as this is a folder produced by Moki in Seki, Japan, it has a slightly larger pivot pinhole in the blade.
This is normal, but often lead to the wrong assumption that it has a slight vertical bladeplay.
Nothing could be more out of focus and the lockup is tight!

The 3G blade on my TK3 is convexed by myself and it holds an edge among the very best knives I have ever used.

For a pocketfriendly user, the TK3 is one of the best You can get!
Yes I recommend it holehartedly!

The Seaoak on the model You have seen. comes from a find here in Sweden and Fällkniven has sent it to Japan for the TK3's.

Thanks Mikael, for the info on the blade pivot hole. I actually purchased 2 TK3's with the Jigged bone about 3-4 years ago, I still have one but sold the other to a friend who liked the one I carry often. I use to think it was a just a side effect from manufacture process. Whats funny, I just picked up a Case Lanny's Clip because it reminded me of the TK3JB, unfortunatly thats all it does. Not to be overly critical but the TK3JB is far nicer fit finish and execution, which is something, Ill never understand. Why case can't make a Knife on that level. Anyway thanks for the pivot explanation.

Nice verdict about the TK3!
It sure is a high quality folder, as it's made by Moki to the standards set by Fällkniven.

I also had a Moki folder, 433ANZ I think . (Gave away as a gift) I use to marvel at the fit and finish and detail in that production knife. I believe it could hold its own against some of the finest lower end handmade custom knives today. It would be interesting to see a Moki version of the Lanny's Clip pattern. I also, can recommend the TK3 it is a very very good knife at that price point. The Jigged bone version has a very classic feel and look to it. And the TK3 actually already has a beautiful super sharp symmetrical edge.

I checked to see their current models availible and You're right!
No clippoints and none looking like the Lanny's Clip.

However, if You would like to explore more of Moki, I would recommend the Fallkniven GP.
I have recently started to carry and use this knife and I'm blown away!

Yes I have seen these, Looks fantastic. Great spec on steel also. I just might have a serious look at it. Just not a big fan of open spine knives, even though I carry a Spyderco paramilitary as a hark use work knife alot. Coins, keys anything you stick in your pocket small enough to get in that space will find its way their (dings, dents on the edge). yeah I also looked at Fallknivens current catalog no clip point blades, maybe the GP thanks

Uh, oh, thanks for the heads-up!
At work I'll carry it in a narrow single pocket for slim tools.
