Would anyone know where I could find a supply of stainless steel tubing, threaded on the interior, in diameters less than 1"?

Thanks!

How long and what thread size does it need to be? Female threaded spacers are available from McMaster-Carr in stainless.

NPT is nation pipe thread tapered there is also NPS or nation pipe straight (mostly used by electricians for conduit). What are you trying to make I have 2 coffee cans full of stainless steel pipe fittings of various sizes. There is also the option of threading the tubing yourself. it comes in a a great variety of od sizes and wall thicknesses. You should be able to get near the right size by selecting OD then wall thickness.
Here is a link to available sizes

I don't know if you can order direct from them but, I am sure an industrial pipe supply would be able to get you the size you want. I do have some pieces of small bore ss tubing laying around mostly 3/8 and 1/4. I think most of it is around .035 wall. I would have to check.

McMaster Carr sell "threaded standoffs" in the fasteners section.

They are round, stainless, and up to 2" long.

Thanks! I want to inset a threaded stainless tube about 5" into a wooden dowel, so that other parts can be screwed into it. It would work sort of like a screw apart pool cue.
