This Bowie knife is made from 80CRV2 carbon steel and is has been heat treated to be in the 58-59RC hardness range. The blade is ground with a double flat grind and the handle is wrapped with black cotton cord that was coated with resin. Under the wrap is ray skin and fossilized tooth. It comes with a handmade Kydex sheath that can be set up for left or right side carry. 15 5/8in long X 3/16in thick X 1 7/8in wide at base of blade.
