Thrifty Thursday... Cheap Traditional Knives

A lot of knives for the price!

The past couple of days I've been running around with my hair on fire, so I'm late with posting a Thrifty Thursday knife this week.
IMHO, it's worth waiting for, though! :thumbsup: :thumbsup: 🤓

I wonder with all the recent news about inflation whether I should raise my "thrifty threshold" going forward.
For example, I joined Blade Forums in 2014 and started buying pocketknives that same year. If I considered any knife under $10 as thrifty then, an online inflation calculator indicates that in 2022, a $10 knife would cost $12 (actually $11.98), so maybe anything I buy this year that's less than 12 bucks should meet my personal thrifty criterion.

Also Portugal, I think:

I like that Martins knife! :thumbsup::cool::cool: I don't recall ever seeing those at any "local" vendors.

(I also like the hot cocoa mix, although I usually opt for the dark chocolate flavor. I put a little into my coffee each morning; one of the "single serving" envelopes usually lasts me at least 2 weeks, so I'm not using it extravagantly. 🤓 )

Camco, a Camillus bargain brand. (I replaced the catastrophically failed shrinky-dink with epoxy and glitter.)

That glittery rehandle job looks really attractive! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

Very cool "thematic" post! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

All 3 objects in that photo are very appealing, especially the dark tone of that leather slip!! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:

My thrifty choice this week is a Chinese Queen canoe:

The TL29 in this pic as been in my pocket at least 20% of the time for probably 35 years.

I have three mid-80's TL29's, given by a brother that was in the Navy then, 2 Queens, and this Camillus. FWIW, in my limited experience, in that time frame the Camillus was a significantly better made knife.
