Timascus is laminated titanium, created with different types of titanium, similar to Damascus, which is made from two or more different steel alloys. The name is trademarked and the process patented by Tom Ferry, ABS Mastersmith.
Timascus is the combination of two or more titanium alloys fashioned in the same manner as Damascus steel used to make Japanese swords.
