I started with simple stock removal to get profile, and I use a Snody made grinding jig to set the bevels. I do my finishing grinds and cleanup freehand..but I'm still learning here so the jig helps a lot. I wish I had thought to take a pic of the scrap I was working with to start…but here are some wip pics I snapped:

Bolsters are spalted maple burl with 2x2 twill carbon fiber bonded to a black g10 liner (west systems gflex for epoxy), with carbon fiber pins.

I have been working with Titanium for making knives for a while now…and I have seen others use it with great results too. Taking in as many tips as I could from some great folks on this and other forums I have gotten some pretty great results with the carbidized cutting edge and blade geometry. This one is set up with a modified chisel grind with full flat grinds on both sides, and the cutting edge opposite the carbidized side. I am using the Bebe carbidizer and should be coming in around 70hrc on the cutting edge based on settings and research (my test files only go up to 65, and I have that easily beat). It is shave sharp, and slices paper like crazy…and I like the carbidized edges as they are a little toothy, which for general use blades seems to work great….plus IMO they are easy to sharpen and maintain on a strop.

For anyone that has made Ti knives I’m open to your thoughts and experiences on your ti knives. And being still relatively new to the game Im open to comments and feedback on my general craftsmanship.
