Hello, one more puukko by me , but this time with steel, that I use for the first time - K390 microclean. This is the most terrible steel to grind , that I have ever worked with. But at the end, the sharpness achieved was very impressive. From my experience with the steels that I work with , this blade got wicked sharp. It cuts receipts and forearm hair "from a distance". The puukko users might imagine how it will bite into wood.

Steel – K390 62-63 HRC.
OAL - 208 mm (~8.2").
Blade - 92.5Х22Х4.4mm (~3.6x0.9x0.18") rhomboid grind.
Blade finish - p 800.
Handle – birch bark and inox.
Leather sheath with wooden insert.
Weight with/without sheath - 99/135 grams.

"It cuts receipts and forearm hair "from a distance"." You made me laugh with this one.
A beauty - though even from here, I can feel my arm hair falling away :D

Someone will score a stellar puukko with this one. Nicely done.

Two puukkos with karelian birch handles. The first one is for my dentist . This is his first puukko. He usualy likes full tang knives with composite scales but the last time he visited me , I saw him whittling a stick with a folder. I gave him a rhomboid puukko with almost zero secondary bevel and said - try with this one and he realy liked it.

Along with the big puukko, I started this little one. Because of the bark handle it is super light , so I thought that it would be suitable for necker knife.
