I had not seen anything on the Toler Union before an ad popped up on YouTube today. Looks interesting but it looks like they are still in preproduction.

That is a very cool tool. I've never seen these. Who sells them?

This thing has been in the works for nearly two years. The first crowd funding was unsuccessful. The current one has fully funded the tool many times over, but they have still not shipped any production tools. They keep moving the ship date for the first orders, then the virus hit, then problems with the manufacturer, and so on and so on!

It is an interesting tool, but very large. I am interested in one of they ever see the light of day!

The issues getting it into real production are disappointing. I'd like to see Gerber, Sog or Leatherman acquire the design and make it.

The thought behind it is interesting, but it's a bit too complicated and unconventional which never really sells very well.
I'm not sure how many people will be willing to have pliers that small in a multitool this big and bulky.
I know personally I'd rather just have a 4" adjustable on me like I usually do than have that big bulky wrench attached to my multitool.

can't really see what kind of engagement you're getting on fasteners with the wrench part, but the overall function and principle behind it Is the same as the Clench-wrench you can get under the Craftsman and Crescent brands.
It's really not the most optimal, but I suppose for multitool duty its it's probably not too bad.
