Tom Krein knives?

I have a TK-3 and a TK-8, they're really really nicely made. He has his own forum at another place on the net, and you can see a lot of is work there. If you're interested, don't wait too long to order because he's starting to really take off and the list will only get longer as time goes on.

Thanks..wish I could AFFORD one..::sigh
Seemed like a good custom knife to get as a first
Oh, I can't really afford them. I order them far enough in advance of Christmas or my birthday so that they will be ready at around that time. Then I save up a little as I go and add some cash I receive as gifts to pay for the knife.

I have 3 kids and a mortgage so I pick up a few regular knives here and there but I can only buy one or two knives of this caliber a year.

Garageboy, Look here and all the other forums for Krein to come up now and again..
You'll spoil yourself with one of Tom Krein's knives..They're all lovely.
Tom Has a website up and running

I still gotta buy something from Crawford one of these days (I spend at least an hr at their booth at all NY knife shows)

Tom Krein is making some of the best knives for the money out there right now. He's also one of the nicest guys to deal with, so collecting his knives falls into the "No Brainer" catagory. :)

Thanks for the vote of confidence guys...I appreciate it. I do my best to make an affordable working knife!

GarageBoy,
Won't be able to make it to NY show due to my weekend job. I work as an ER RN full time every weekend...this lets me work in my shop during the week and is ALMOST a perfect thing! I say ALMOST because I only get 4 weekends a year off and after Blade in Atlanta and the Arkansas Knifemakers Ass. Show in Little Rock I only have 2 weekends/year for family and emergency.

Hopefully I will be able to quiet at the hospital in a couple of years and I will start going to the NY shows and many others! Thanks for your interest!

Tom

Seems to make nice stuff. Anyone have one? Thanks!
Tom makes really nice knives; I highly recommend getting one. I've got a TK8 and just ordered a TK2.

I have and ass load of knives like most folks here, when I leave the house and grab a fixed blade it is my TK8. Nuff said.
