Anyone considering a Bushcraft knife should take a close look at Tops Tahoma field knife. I always carried a hatchet and a knife, but when hiking weight is a big factor. The Tahoma does the job of both my knife and hatchet in one package. I tried the Tom Brown tracker and I think it's a great knife, but the Tahoma works better for me. It is big enough to baton with and also makes a great skinner and cook / utility knife. It is a big knife, but it is purpose built with no gimmicks - tough knife built for real work.
