Have been carrying small Victorinox alox classic, but find the blade little too short.Any other suggestions for keychain knife? Was thinking about small douk douk , small mercator cat55....or exelsior alox (on sale at my knife dealer)all input welcome. Will probably be getting small mercator or victorinox exelsior alox.

These little Bokers are well made and have received good feedback from owners. Myself included. They aren't expensive and they have a key ring attachment at the butt end that you can see in my second pic. Available from a non Bladeforum supporting dealer.

At 2”, this blade may be too short for you, but this Boker is a nice little keychain knife. Since I have a Micra on my other keychain, and three knives in my RFP, I have not found a lot of use for it. Call it a deep backup. It takes up no room in my pocket, and helps me identify the keychain I am groping for.

It was an impulse buy in response to a post here. If you have more success than I did at tracking down that post, you ought to be able to figure out where I bought it.

Edit : I see Railsplitter beat me to it, with better pics to boot. There are no coincidences. Take it as an omen.

I tried a Pioneer, but have settled on an Alox Cadet.

Third vote for the little Boker keychain knife.
Well-built, nice steel, and priced right.
Just Google search "Orange Boker Keychain Knife".

You've gotta get a Christy companion.

They're an underapreciated classic that was once a widly common Key chain knife here in the US.
And the fact that the original equipment is which is owned by the grandson of the knife's inventor I might add is still pumping these out to this day makes them even cooler.

Ruike makes some nice little keychain knives, I have the s22, which has a blade and a pair of scissors. I also like the spiderco Ladybug, (which is probably not considered a true traditional) and the Opinal 4 keychain.

Will try out cadett,i have older wenger soldier, alox, and find it an excellent edc knife but is little big for keychain, this one seems ok ,will try to find small Mercator too and see how it goes.Used to carry ladybug,it is very usefull knife, can be opened and closed with one hand, but wish blade was little longer, anyways, like it better than classic for pure cutting, opening packages etc.its just scissors and file that i like on classic.

I keep a victorinox classic on my keys for the tools, not the blade. I have heard good things about the christy knives, and they seem really neat. A little pricey maybe but theyre classy.

Although I don't carry a knife on my key chain, I do own and have owned a Buck 425 for decades and it is a great little knife that should fill the role nicely.

I ordered cadet and another pioneer alox, pioneer is one of best if not the best sak :) for edc, ordered gold version. These knives are sheeple friendly and do their function well.am going away to Europe to visit my family and will gift my older pioneer alox and opinel 10 stainless to my uncle who is fisherman, outdoorsman and woodworker.im not really a fan of spyderco, but that ladybug on keychain served me well many times, cutting strings, packages, cardboard and even food, and it was easy to open up with one hand ,while never upsetting sheeple in office, home enviroment.Am not sure of that manbug version as ive never seen it in person, maybe that would be pretty good too, have too many knives already LOL.On classic the only thing i dont like is the keychain attachment is on the side of blade,so when cuttind it interferes with keys, otherwise is an excellent little knife,i carried version with built in pen f9r long time too but lost it.

Ps.i just looked at prices of manbug and roadie,am sure theyre nice knives but prices i see on them now are ridiculous, have couple of sanrenmu kniwes on way from China, small ones and theyre not clones, sanrenmu md116 and a103,8cr13 and bargain price.if anyone else have these knives please respond, all the reviews i see are more than positive for price.

I prefer a prybar on my keychain (gerber shard) and a knife in my coin pocket. I find it easier to carry more knife that way.
