I know I've seen 'em around for the last 3 years, I thought I was hallucinatin', why bother to ride, what's the point.

hehe, looks like a cheaper alternative to a trike setup!

My parents have been biking for years. They love being out in the open, the feel of the wind and even just being able to smell the country air. They have a lot of friends that are the same. A few years back, one of their friends ended up having serious hip problems. End result? Not enough strength to hold the bike upright or pick it up if he dropped it. Solution? Trike it! Lets him continue enjoying the hobby he loves.

Huge faring , tall windshield , bobble-head Helmet,,, and training wheels !!!!!!! The nerd might have just as easily taken the doors off his car and drove around rather than pretending to ride a motorcycle,,,,lmao(insert jerkinit smilie here)

Whenever I see folks riding with a trailer and umpteen saddlebags I just want to roll my window down and holler, "Why didn't you just buy a truck?" Well, they've got their knees in the breeze and they're happy I guess.

It's a Voyager kit, a friend of mine sells them. ( not SPAM)

We had this discussion Tuesday night, when I get old and can't hold it upright, training wheels, like ColdOne said, it's cheaper than a trike, and I get to keep my scoot.

That GoldWing even has reverse

After my oops on the dirtbike in the fall, my wife is also threatening to put them on my KLR before spring... :D

A trike's one thing, these look like ya just ride up and bolt 'em on, it looks harder to steer, less stable in turns I really don't like bein' behind 'em on the road.

I have a buddy with a bum hip and he went to a smaller, lighter classic Norton 850 Commando, no problem.

I've always said, "Whatever get's ya in the wind", so I take it back, if trainin' wheels do it for ya, than more power to ya brother.

The reverse runs off the starter drive, I believe. My scoot weighs 800lbs and @ times I wish it had reverse,,,,, On the few occasions when I had to pick it up,,,,I did. Let's just say there are a LOT of stupid drivers out there!!!!!!

I guess I'll be the first to say it;

That thing looks like it might be fun to ride. :foot::foot::foot:

If you had to do it, I've seen the add-ons for the 'Wings that look like landing gear and raise and lower.

Whatever gets you out I guess - to each their own. Not my cup of tea either but lets see if I make it to that point. ;)

I've never got to see one up close or see one corner but it doesn't look like it would corner well. Do the wheel pods flex in the corners?

I don't mind a nasty trike. They can be very cool. My neighbors when I was a kid dropped their bike and between the two of them I guess could not pick it back up and were stranded. They went out and bought matching trikes with sweet paint jobs. (Big, long stretched out trikes with huge engines, nasty exhaust sounds, not just a bike with a trike kit).

Russel Mitchel from Exile Cycles a mean trike, not too passenger friendly, but nasty looking enough to be scary to ride.

I really really don't like the look of the kiddie training wheels on the yellow bike. I get the reasoning behind it, but if I ever get to the point where I can't pick up my bike, I will have to go the trike route, but definitely not tiny training wheels.

Someone I am acquainted with purchased a crotch rocket and dropped it on his way out of the dealers lot. It was brand new and top of the line. He apparently did not have enough experience with them... He sold it within six months for a car.
