Tomcat- Without having the box in front me, I'm pretty sure it is curly maple and is from the late 1980's.

Almost missed that one myself. When I could not decide between ebony and appaloosa I figured I could sleep on it. Early the next day the decision was make for me when there were no ebony left. Then my order was placed with absolutely no hesitation what-so-ever! and I believe I got the right one for me.
