I brought two trappers with me today... one is my old, recently "found" Bear MGC trapper, complete with blue green staining of the bone (I assume) handles.. The second one is a Chinese Buck, given to me by my brother in law, who is not a "knife guy".... just a nice guy. This one came in a blister pack along with a tiny toothpick wearing the same handles.
This Buck is surprisingly nicely assembled... no gaps at the springs, blades centered.... it is, however, sort of "square" feeling.. the edges need to be melted a bit, which I plan to do. All in all a pretty nice knife, made much more valuable because of how I got it.
