Hello forumites,
I am traveling to the Netherlands soon and I would like to ask the BF community if there is anything they suggest I do while I'm there. I am staying in Eindhoven. I have nights and weekends free. I am married so that rules out a lot of my previous swarrays into the EU. I'm looking for some cool hikes, camping, history, etc... Partying is always an option but do not want to make that the focus.Any makers in the area? Local cuisine?
Any advice would be great. I'm not sure what knives will be coming with me but nothing that will be illegal or I wouldn't mind losing.

Do the Dutch have a traditional knife? The only one I could find was the "horse knife".

You could always walk the battlefield there. Or drive up to Arnhem or Nijimegen.

Pretty flat country. Good cheese and pastries.

There's a lot to do, you really just have to look it up yourself, see where your intrests are.

You really should try some cheese, as well as traditional candy and stroopwafels.

As for dutch knives
Not really, maybe the large cheese knives lol.

Little knife law 101.

Banned:
Auto's.
Balisongs.
Gravity knives.
Knifes with 2 cutting edges. (Daggers)
Knives with a total length of 28cm+ (handle+blade)

Also don't bring a knife when you go to clubs bars or coffeeshops.
