I have the first version and sometimes carry to the office if I have a bigger knife (e.g. Hinderer, Medford, etc.) with me. I like it a lot - comfortable, great blade and well made.

TRM Holy Nerd with my favorite walnut scales. It is usually my second knife in my shorts cargo pocket. I Carry the Neutron 2 or OG Neutron the most. It is a great little knife. They make it in Magnacut now.Nerd MAtch Walnut.jpeg

I'd love to hear more of peoples experience with one of these. I ordered one of their Magnacut versions yesterday during the drop. Very excited to try it out as well as Magnacut from a trusted manufacturer.

I plan on using it as a primary knife.

I almost pulled the trigger on the Magnacut. I am sure they did a great job with the steel. I like the size and feel, I realize some prefer bigger knives, I have a share of them myself. Post your experience with the new Nerd when you test it out.

Mine is the 20cv version, I can tell you that they did an excellent job on this steel. I’m sure the magnacut version will be just as good.

I'd really wanted to like the Nerd, but the thumb hole placement vs handle size just didn't work for me. I love my Neutron. IMO the Nerd would be great if it was a flipper.

I agree the Neutron is my favorite too. Smaller knives are more dependant on the individual users preferences and anatomy.
