when i saw it i knew it will look nice

dilemma was, change the scales and leave both blades or make two knives out of one,
since already have one billhook, enough for couple grapevines that grow around my father house, but i don't have sheepfoot knives and it just seemed right alone in frame, decided to go single blade ;)

there was a piece of gray coloured stabilized mystery wood in my odds and ends bin,and what a surprise once i sanded and polished scales

i have to straiten edge and sharpen it,and leave rustic look

don't know maker or what kind of carbon steel is used, but it sharpens and stays sharp

now i'm left with billhook blade and spring, and thinking another sheepfoot :D

hope you like it

It looks great, and from what you say, the materials are very good.
So you have recreated a knife as a one-of-a-kind treasure!!
Nice work!!

I love these kind of threads. An old beat up knife that gets recycled into a new and unique knife.

Great work on part A. Did you say you're going to grind the hawksbill into a sheepfoot? I've never found much use for a hawksbill myself, so sounds good to me. Cool hammer too.

That came out awesome. That blade is great for just about anything. I like the mystery wood...

What a transformation, rinos!! That is a real beauty now. Masterful work and the ball peen hammer ain't bad either

Thanks on positive comments gentleman,

friend made ball-peen hammer from ball rod joint end(i hope that's correct name)actually two pieces welded together.

nimble 7 oz compared with serious 28 oz hammer :)

Great transformation into great pocket knife. The scales are soooo pretty and the blade looks like quality carbon steel.
