Two Buck 110s with Inverted BUCK over USA

I’ve picked up two early Buck 110 knives in the last couple of months, and I’m curious about the bottom of the two. I believe it’s an earlier model than the one on the top, and it came in a pouch that didn’t have any rivets and has the 110 above the belt loop. In comparing the two Bucks, the lower one is overall thinner, has two different colored scales, the U.S.A. is smaller, and the rivets in the bolsters are not visible. Particularly noticeable is the single seam between the rear bolsters (third version?), as opposed to the double seam in the upper Buck (indicating a spacer between the rear bolsters-fourth version?). So do I have both the third and fourth versions, and which variations would they be? Thanks in advance for help.

Agree with dm. The bottom is the older. It has integral rear spacer, 3rd version. The seperate brass spacer on the upper is a 4th version

To answer the OP's question, yes, you do have both a third and fourth version shown, although I cannot see sufficient detail to tell which variation they are. If the fourth version has a brass rocker rivet, which I believe it does, it is a variation 1 and if a stainless rivet, it is a variation 2. The third versions are more difficult, but yours appears to be either a variation 3, 5, or 6 based on inlay rivets and the rocker rivet. You will need to ascertain the bolster butt and blade rivets for a definite ID, and, as you note, those can sometimes be difficult to see on these. See the sticky above for Buck date codes for this information if you do not already know it. Nice knives!!

First, thanks for the comments; it really helps. I only started picking up Buck 110's recently although I had one many years ago that went missing on one of my moves. As for the rivets, if I am reading the sticky correctly, I believe the top on is the first variation, as it has the brass rocker rivet. The third version seems to be a variation 3, as I cannot see any rivets on the right side of the butt bolster and at least one, and maybe two on the left side. I can see one rivet on the left and right on the blade bolster.
I paid $35 for the top one and $40 for the bottom one, are these reasonable values?

Even though the blades are worn down that is a great price for both on those two liners. You basically got em for a 1/4 of what they go for on the auction sites.
