Hello all,
Today I have two 6" Silverthorn used boning knives for sale. I am the original owner of both knives listed for sale.
Prices are postage paid via USPS Ground Advantage (new name for First Class Mail). First to comment "I'll take (knife)", along with a PM expressing interest will get a reserve on said knife. Payment must be made via Paypal F&F. All payment details will be expressed via PM. Buyer must be willing to commit to making a payment within 24 hours, or the knife will pass on to any additional persons of interest. Knives will be shipped typically the same day, or within 24 hours at most. Shipping to residents of the USA only at this time. No interest in trades.
1. O1 with a blue Maple/Wenge handle and copper pins SOLD!
2. O1 with a blue maze-like pattern canvas Micarta handle and black G-10 pins SOLD!

-Both knives have been used for lamb, pork and beef de-boning and are both in good condition. A full patina has formed on both knives and both have been cleaned with Bar Keeper's Friend. Both have been sharpened up to, though not exceeding 10 times each. Both have had their primary bevels thinned out by hand on whetstones and show grinding marks as such. They both still have plenty of life left. There is a nice springy, semi-flex to the blades, with the blades being thin and straight. The handles show a bit of handling wear, though neither show any structural concerns. The O1 steel is hardened to ~58HRC and provides excellent performance, whilst being easy to sharpen to a wonderful edge. Both handles provide a comfortable and secure grip in both standard and reverse "boning" grip. A light coating of mineral oil has been applied to both knives. They will both come in their original cardboard sleeve protectors, inside their original boxes, as one is shown in the photography. These were some of my favorites during the last stretch as a butcher/meat-cutter. I wish I had more practical use for these, these days, however, they will provide excellent service to another individual(s).
Thanks for looking!
