I recent post by one of our members in England stated he's carrying (most likely) a
Victorinox Bantam Alox...which he also goes to mention it's "legal"

So are SAK's in general "legal" to carry in England?
I'm going to assume models like the OHT would not be, by the nature of the locking blade and opening with one hand...

Contemplating a trip to the UK sometime this year, or early next...
would kinda feel naked without a knife...
It would be nice to be able to carry a SAK over there...

thx

U.K. knife law allows you to carry a 3" or less folder without a lock. So, most SAK's are fine. You can carry a lock knife or fixed blade, of any size, if you can prove you have a really good reason for doing so. Deliberately muddy waters and not worth the hassle unless you are actually deer hunting or something of that ilk.
Enjoy your trip. I still think London just might be the best city in the world although I am very fond of New York.

Completely agree with Jockohomo.

I would suggest a standard non locking SAK, with the classic red handles. Instantly recognisable and non threatening to most folk.

Agreed, but don't forget Paris, it's definitely a rival. I've been to London and Paris several times, and once in New York. I've also been to Rome, Sydney, LA, Las Vegas and Hong Kong. Each city is unique and I wouldn't want to miss the experience.

I think I'm starting with SAKs again, because then I won't feel uncomfortable when I travel - I'll have a knife with me that I'm familiar with. SAKs are legal in most countries.
Too bad they don't make a Farmer with scissors or pliers. Or both and no blade and awl...
