Greetings all,
I expect the buyer of this knife is likely familiar with both with Stuart's incredible body of work and with the insanelyly labor-intensive process of forging down a bowie from a fist-sized sphere of 52100.
For those who aren't, here's a thread on the knife's creation:
https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/from-bearing-to-bowie-a-knife-by-stuart-branson.803942/
It was originally made with a walnut / horn handle, but the horn shrank and Stuart re-handled it in the beautiful stablized Koa that you see here.
Dimensions are approx. 8 1/4" blade, 13 1/4" OAL.
Knife comes with a finely-tooled leather sheath by Stuart that is of near Paul Long quality.
Condition of the knife is mint - never used or carried.
Price is US$1,200 - inclusive of PayPal (preferred) and shipping anywhere in the US and Canada. Overseas shipping is available to an established forum member, but it is at additional cost.
Best to reach me via e-mail at pinnocr@hotmail.com
Thanks for looking and reading.
