Unlocked Composites Orders?

They're the company that makes aftermarket CF handles for <mainly> WE, BM, Civivi.

Anyways, I ordered two sets of Baby Banter handles a couple months back from them.

Haven't gotten them yet. Sent emails...no response.

Anybody else have any recent contact with them?

Boy this does not give me hope. Similar, but not as long out for me. Placed order early September, zero communication since. Sent email yesterday to get update, nothing so far. I am guessing supply chain issue? Regardless, i am excited for some contouring in my scales!

Yah, I can understand supply chain issues or retooling, and such. But there shouldn't be an embargo on email or other communications.

I'm gonna see if I can find a cell # and talk with a real person.

Looks like the owner or at least someone with the company replied to people in their fb group.

ETA: on their website it says the reopening date is the end of September.

Thanks, I'd never seen that because I'm not on MyFace or Spacebook or Instantcart or anything like that-- besides knife enthusiasts' forum.

Sounds like the guy's got some legit issues he's working through-- at least as far as this og <old guy> can tell from social media.

He'll get a short grace period from me....but not forever...sorry to sound jaded but I'm not ready to Survive! another long-term knife debacle.

Hmm, not on FB either, i did go to their page and I agree sounds like he is trying to get a handle on getting caught up. I really want those scales for multiple knives, so hoping it is worth the wait.

Funny how some sellers EXPECT to be paid promptly but take forever to fulfill the order, and boy do they have excuses. And nowadays most companies do not supply a phone number, so it is very difficult to resolve issues. The downside to technology I guess.

I did get a email reply last Wednesday, indicated order was ready. I haven’t heard since. Here’s to hoping.

Okay, so order received yesterday. Contoured CF for the BB, and forged CF for the Elementum. They were gracious and sent along a couple backspacers for the Elementum that I had inquired about after the order had been placed. They look and feel great. Definitely worth the wait, and plan future orders.
