Buck makes a boot knife and I think Gerber used to offer one (supposedly it was a very well made but now discontinued). Any others available? Thanks in advance.

Spyderco Nightstick, I got one a while back, it is the perfect size for a boot knife, flat, and very well made.

IMO, the vintage Gerber Mark I is the best boot knife ever made.

You can still buy them in "like new" condition on EB for less than $200, if you're patient. One w/a leather sheath and a low serial # sold for only $175 recently. The following photo is of that knife and sheath.

And if you want to buy a user in lesser condition, you can get one for even less. In fact, one such example just sold on the BF Exchange for just $50.

I bought a Spyderco Nightstick when it was released but quickly sold it because it didn't compare well w/either of the 2 Gerber Mark I's that I own. BTW, the Nightstick is only sharpened on one edge, while both edges of the Gerber Mark I are sharpened.

I also just purchased (but have yet to receive) a vintage Kershaw Special Agent which is similiar to the Gerber and was designed by Ichiro Hattori -- a legendary Japanese knife designer who designed Kershaw's very early Hunter Series, the Trooper and the Special Agent.

The Special Agent is doubled edged and can also be had on EB for less than $200. The photo is of the one I bought for that price but, like the Gerber, you can buy a "user" in lesser condition for much less.

Benchmade Fixed Infidel. But be careful, there are counterfeits out there. From what I've seen the fake has flat head handle screws, the real ones have button (domed) head screws. Unfortunately the screws can only be seen from one side of the knife, and it's usually the non-screw side that is shown in pics online.

Benchmade SOCP.

EOS Thresher.

Spartan Blades CQB.

That Kershaw Special Agent is gorgeous…really like the Mark 1 & Jarosz models too. May consider purchasing that Jarosz knife. Thanks for all the replies.

A good custom boot knife, easy to find for sale pretty much anywhere, is not much more expensive than some of these machine-produced, "made in USA" boot knives,

He's not wrong. Here are some more: (If you disregard the engraving I've bought and sold most of these for about half what the Randall would set you back.)

This Dave Lee pattern can be had in a factory authorized production number pretty cheap.

There's also another route; this this skean dubh is dated from the late-1800's and is the stereotypical boot (or stocking) knife. You can find originals for @ $100.

Khyber / Kabar 2751. You'll have to do some internet hunting but they are quite easy to find, usually under 100 $. There is also the Khyber boot dagger, slightly bigger, with different guard and handle.

A.G Russell Sting II. Very classy little boot knife (dagger actually). Harder to find and pricier.

And if you don't mind modern, the A.G Russell Sting III B. Light, very affordable, well made, suited for neck or pocket carry, belt or boot carry with an added clip. It's thin blade makes for an excellent cutter :
