My password stopped working and wouldn't let me reset it more than five years ago, never been back.
 
They announced a month ago or longer that they were basically being forced to go to a complete new provider, and as such will be down for approximately 2 weeks. Likely all old stuff will not be able to carry forward. Memberships will be honored for the new platform IIRC (I'm a Life member). Be patient, they will be back.

Recently saw a post on FB where they are moving to Discourse, time frame supposedly the end of the year.
 
I'm not on FaceBook or Twitter or any other social media platforms.
Just been with USN from the start.
Am I screwed?
 
I had recently rejoined and read up a bit.
They are moving platforms and advised I follow them to the USN v2 when its up.
Didnt see any specific dates as to when this was actually starting but was only in and out a few times.
 
Kreole - I've been member and on The Cove since day one.
I've done many transactions and have many contacts through USN.
I also keep track of values over time on the site.
Will I lose all this historical info/data ?
Does anyone know how to get in touch with Mare?

I don't, but I know they will do everything in their power to get us going again. There is a lot going on that I won't discuss publicly as it is not my info to share.
 
I never understood what the deal was with the email login, I guess I'm not too savy in all that. It wouldn't let me register a decade ago because my email was an AOL address back then, and I tried again a few months ago and i wouldn't let me because I have a Gmail address. Both times I spent a bit of time trying to figure out what kind of an email address I needed and both times got frustrated after a while and gave up.

Gmail works as that is what I used.

Huh... I'm not sure what was going on then. Both times I got a message saying that, in paraphrase, "we do not allow any free email services as this cuts down almost completely on having any scammers on this site". I guess I'll just have to wait and see what happens with the new version.
 
USN is straight trash. It’s literally nothing but picture threads and the cove is mostly duplicate sales ads from the exchange here. There is zero discussion of anything there and the Gathering is laughable. One tiny room with a bunch of fat tactical wannabes pushing Striders and Emersons LOL.
