Another one forged from 52100.
Forged closest to shape from 52100 steel bar to 1/8" thickness at the heel, with tapered tang and distal taper towards the tip.
Well balanced, it will be a great kitchen tool. It feels great in the hand and it's razor sharp.
Flats are left raw, soaked in vinegar and wire brushed after forging. There are visible hammer marks on the flats. Spine is rounded.
After heat treatment, flats are brushed with scotch brite.
Bevels are finished with scotch brite.
Details:
Overall length - 10,75"
Blade length - 6,3"
Blade width - 1,6"
Thickness at the touchmark area -1/8"
Tang tapered to - 5/64"
The knife weights 5,5 oz and with sheath is 8,1 oz
Handle material:stabilized dark walnut, black G10 liners, carbon fiber pins.
Handmade 4mm thick (0,16") vegetable leather sheath, no belt loop, just a blade protection.
Asking SOLD, priority int. shipping with tracking number included
