Today I present a very particular work, not for the shape, not for the extraordinary workmanship but for the steel of his blade.
I do not know if it is the first knife in nitrogen steel Vanax Superclean with industrial heat treatment as in the technical sheet of the material, but surely there are not many in the world.
It's my interpretation of a Nakiri / Usuba, the blade is thin and light like a Nakiri, the grinding is only on one side like a Usuba.
The handle that can be disassembled is of western type, here too I combine the possibility of disassembling the handle, typical Japanese peculiarity, to the western shape that usually sees the riveted handles or glued to the blade.
The handle is in Rosewood with ferula in buffalo horn, the clear lines are in Maple inlay in Amaranth and thick under the rosewood in black Ebony, the 316 stainless steel screws are Torx.
Hope you like it!
