I saw the 2015 limited edition steelblue alox Pioneer, Cadet, and Classic on the Victorinox website the other day. Wow! What classy looking tools! I'm having a hard time locating just a Pioneer or Cadet (found a seller on flea Bay selling the full set, but not really interested in owning the classic and both the Pioneer and Cadet).

Can anyone guide me on how/if I might find these? Not sure when the LE's were released, so guess I could be too late unless they start showing up on the secondary market. Thanks.

No idea. They seems are all sold out and weren't initially available to all dealers but they should be more widely available soon (so I hear).

Thanks. I'm just excited to know there's at least a possibility of them being available soon. I was just afraid they did a limited run at the beginning of the year or something and I had completely missed out.

Anybody out there snagged one of these yet?

OP, I hadn't seen those before you listed them. They look awesome. I'll definitely be on the lookout.

I have seen them on other sites that I frequent, bought from a dealer in Germany.

Have done some additional digging and found it with a distributor in Switzerland. Just a question of do I want to pay almost $60 USD for it. I mean I did just sell off four knives so that justifies it right? ;-)

Sure it does..... :D Hey I spend stupid amounts of money on colored ALOX but I justify it by calling myself a "collector"...

Hehe...thanks for enabling me....

I found a local dealer/distributor who isn't a major chain store that I'm going to check with tomorrow (although my guess is that will be a dead end). If they don't have it, well then I may be making my first international knife purchase. Just glad they take PayPal. :-)

BerkshireHunter, who is a member here, got an email from Vic on this....I'll wait to see if he chimes in here.

Yeah, you could say this was a dead end. The guy I spoke with on the phone said they haven't carried Victorinox in about 6 years. Guess the Vic website is a bit out of date....

Hopefully Berk will be along shortly and willing to share the info he has. [emoji106]

I have seen the Pioneer being sold as a matched set with a Victorinox Watch recently. Didn't get to check it out in person, but it looked sharp.

Haha, you could have shared. I dont frequent here as much. Anyways,

"Here's the response I got from Victorinox,

"The Limited Edition Alox knives will be available in the US in the Fall (anticipating October). If you are already set up as a customer, you should receive more information, with the ability to pre-order, in the next few weeks.

Thanks.

Just got the info that Alox limited editions will become available in Europe starting September. Also, got myself the Nature Adventure 2015 limited-edition Classic, love it.
I don't know if this has been posted here before, but you can check here all the 2015 limited-editions design (for Cellidor-handled models only)

Than your source is incorrect as I already received mine a month ago.

Is this directly from Vic? I'm purchasing from a distributor, this is what they told me... anyways...

I recently ordered the bluesteel limited edition Pioneer from a German Ebay seller. Now just waiting for it to get here :)
