This review is about Victorinox Camper, 3-layer SAK. Camper is 91mm Swiss Army Knife. It has 13 functions: small blade, large blade, wood saw, can opener with small flathead screwdriver, bottle opener with large flathead screwdriver and wire stripper, corkscrew, awl, tweezers, toothpick and keyring. Camper is generally available in 3 versions (colors): classic red (model 1.3613), classic red with "Camping" logo and black (1.3613.3). I have model 1.3613.71 with "Camping" logo on scales. It is actually my second Camper because I lost my first one about year ago when picking berries. My favourite SAKs are 84mm with 2-layers and 91mm with 2- or 3-layers because they have all tools which I need and nothing that I do not need. When we talk blade lengths then Camper large blade is about 60mm, small blade is about 37mm and wood saw blade is about 70mm. This knife is suitable for almost everything: carving, cleaning fish, mushrooming, peeling potatoes and slicing vegetables and so on. I mostly use large blade, small blade and wood saw. Both blades are sharp as hell, like SAKs always have had. Wood saw is sharp also and cuts very well. For example it cuts down 50mm tree without problem. Awl (or punch) is also very good tool. I have used it for making holes into leather, wood, cork and plastic. When I was in woods this spring, I made small hole into birch tree to collect birch sap. Like knife model name says, it is very good choice for outdoor knife, especially camping and hiking. And, of course, the price is very affordable too. It stays between 20 to 25 EUROs in my country.

Some pics too:

Thanks for the review.

This is the exact model I need. I have carried a Tinker for years, but wanted a model with a saw.

Nice pictures. I assume you didn't cut the the tree on the first picture with the Camper.?

I have a Camper and it is great to have a small saw on a SAK
The saw is very useful in bushcrafting, it means you can do a whole bunch of fine tasks by sawing instead of cutting with a larger blade

It is an alternative to the Alox Farmer so you can keep the corkscrew, and the second small blade on the Camper
The Huntsman has all the blades of the Camper, but also has large sissors and a pot hook (that can be used to twist wires and the like), which are great additions to a 'survival' knife
