It's big knife.

No hole, no nick; the thumb stud is my add on.
No problem just pinching the blade to extract; you got plenty of steel to grab!
That's about 3 7/8" of cutting edge.
Next to my Endura for scale:

The liners are full and not skeletonized.
It's for me, nice and hefty.
Typical SAK fit and finish which is to say excellent.
No idea what the steel is; not too worried if it's anything like a regular SAK then it should be easy to sharpen to hair splitting.
Did I say this knife is big? I like the extra bit the lanyard 'ring' gives; skull crusher?

Great clip, a bit on the long side.
I believe you can move it to the other side, at least that's what I think the directions were for.
Notice the for me, the thumb stud mounts right on the logos.
2021 is the limited edition part I think.

My first large SAK and I think it was worth every penny.
Blade and knife are solid and have some heft. Alox scales are pretty and offer a comfortable grip. Again, typical Victorinox feel, not like a SAK but more like my Swisstool Spirit X.
Borderline boat anchor.
Comes with a nice long braided orange lanyard if you're into that kind of thing.
I don't mess too much with knives in this price point, but compared to ones I do have, this is a winner. I admit, as soon as I saw it was orange, I jumped on it.
If you are into Alox knives, I'd say get one while you can.
Add the thumb stud and you're good to go!

Thanks. My life won't end without one. But I saw this in red when they came out and it has been a point of interest since.

While it looks cool, I have the feeling that they didn't nail this one. Alox scales are strong enough to allow for skeletonized liners. This knife seems to be 180gr while the SS endura is arround 160gr and it is already a heavy knife. I don't know the blade thickness (victorinox does not list it) but the low saber grind must result in quite an obstuse bevel angle. Even their multitool SAKs have full flat grinds... why not this one? Regarding the price, I think there are much better choices out there (from my perspective) in the same size blade size range.

But if you like it, that's all that really counts!

I"m going to go out on a limb here and say that folks read reviews by people that actually have product in hand so they don't have to wade through the speculative opinions of people who only have that: opinions.
I mean until you are holding one you can't actually review it can you?
Get back to the thread when you actually have one.
Until then, thanks for your contribution.

Any side to side or up and down play? I usually steer away from pinned together lock-backs because they can’t be easily adjusted when play is present or developed.I like the looks of them for sure and have never much worried about weight.

Fit and finish is tight and solid.
I think I'd go with Victorinox experience on this one.
Never had a SAK unravel on me.

I'm having a bit o'trouble with that thumb stud and finding a sweet spot for it.
Don't know why, but some times it's okay, sometimes it gives me trouble.
Might go back to two handed opening.
I still like it.
