This purple alox SAK looks mighty interesting!

"A collaboration between Victorinox and Nespresso is putting hundreds of thousands of Nespresso coffee capsules into Victorinox customers’ pockets instead of landfills. The news broke when the company recently introduced a limited edition, deep purple version of their Pioneer with a surprising ingredient. The alox scales of each knife are made of the aluminum extracted from 24 recycled Nespresso coffee capsules."

Good on both companies for doing this.

They should make collaboration knife with translucent handles, filled with the water Nestle stole and blood of their dead slaves.

I just found this thread and if I may be brutally honest, that by far is the Ugliest Swiss Army Knife I have ever seen in my life.

Alox collectors, and at least two people I work with, will disagree with that statement.

It's a nice alox that for sure. Not crazy about the etch on the blade. This one is going to be extremely rare and exensive to get in the U.S. Luckily I scored a purple run pioneer from a German retailer not that long ago.

Just 'cause it's purple? I kind of dig it.

I'm curious just how "limited" it will actually be and then how soon the scalpers will have them on ebay. I'm guessing the price on these could be hefty. The blade etching doesn't bother me much but I'm not a purple knife fan.

This seems to be more of a release aimed right at the collectors so I'm doubting very many will ever see pocket carry.
