Victorinox Multi-tools

The Camper. The main blade is not crinked which calms my OCD. I would love the Farmer as the top contender if the blade wasn't so crooked.

The only Victorinox product I own that I would call a " multitool " is the Jetsetter so that would have to be my choice, I do not own one of their Swisstool multitools.

If were talking their ubiquitous pocket knives with tools, that would have to go to the recruit or cadet.

Tinker as it has the stuff I use most often at home or work . sometimes a hiker ( tinker with a saw ) for gib stuff at work.
Have occasionally used a farmer for dirty jobs / messy sites as clean up is so easy - run under water , shake off , put back in pocket 👍

I carry the Super Tinkerer, especially for the scissors. Stopped carrying the Deluxe Tinkerer, because the pliers made it too heavy and they were not as useful as a full size Leatherman's pliers.

If they count, the Recruit*, Huntsman, Evo Grip 14 (tho if I bought a new one, I'd get the 17 and 18 that have the saw) and Mini Champ.
Why? They're the ones I have or have had.
A Swiss Tool is out of my budget.

(* I gifted my last Recruit, haven't replaced it yet. Probably wont ... I might replace my Huntsman in 2023, if I can't find it in 2022. Not sure if I need to replace it, since I have an Evo Grip 14 now ...)

Hey Fish.. How do you like the Evo Grip?? Size and grip wise??
John

I reach for my Alox Cadet most often, followed by my Rambler (mainly for the scissors) and Cybertool S (usually for the bit driver).

If I'm carrying a SAK as my only knife, I've got a real soft spot for the Electrician. Great tool mix in a great size, and I used it to prep for a cross-country move and carried it that whole time, making it both sentimental and demonstrably practical. :)

I like it. In hand it feels about the same as my AWOL Huntsman, but grippier. I really haven't noticed the 3 ~ 5mm difference. It feels just as solid and balanced as the 91/93mm's.

I will say I like these scissors better than the Huntsman's. No spring to break. It feels a little more ... substantial(?) ..."less flimsy"(?)

I have old Swisstool that i really like.
I lost it, I thought, while icefishing.
Got another to replace it, finally, after month without.
Then, few months later I found the other one in water-bladder pocket
that I last used that day on the ice.
Now I have two.

Oh goodness...
Them's a tough question...
Since it makes the question alot easier to answer, I'm gonna limit my answer to plier based models;

I had the SwissTool Spirit X in my pocket when I opened the thread, so I'll go with that. I used the scissors on it today at the Golden Coral to shorten the straws on my babies cups. They have kid sized cups, but give the kids full length straws 🤔😒, dummies.

It really is a great all purpose, general use tool. All the basic essential tools for most jobs. Great fit and finish. Some of the best ergonomics you can get in a pliers based tool, imo.

If you don't need to carry accessories, like a bit kit, bit extender, etc, and just want a compact, high quality, do most jobs in one pocket-tool, tool, the Spirit X really is one of the best options out there.
