As far as I can tell, the only differences between these two SAKs are the handle color and the lock. Is one better than the other?

Victorinox Rucksack vs. Forester

The awl/reamer might be different. On the Swiss Army Brands site, they list the Forester as having a "sturdy reamer" and the Rucksack as having a "reamer with sewing eye". I stared at the pictures and can't really tell. What kind of lock do the dark handled Victorinox 111mm knives have? I've seen the pictures but haven't played with the real thing. I like the red knife locks; it's like a Gerber bolt action.

The black handled locking Victorinox knives have a liner lock in addition to the backspring.
